Life at an Off-Grid Tiny Cabin in the Winter Forest -Tiny Home Tour, Ice Fishing & Snowmobiling

A Glimpse of tiny off-grid cabin life as we make our way from our winter camping trip straight to a @cabinscape3933 Cabin in the Haliburton Forest.
We arrived just after dark and made ourselves at home quickly. The next morning we set off for some ice fishing to see if we would be as lucky as we were the year before when we caught a nice Lake Trout. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed a nice lunch on the lake before heading back to the cabin for some mulled wine and moose burritos.
The following day we hopped onto the snowmobile and headed to the basecamp for lunch at Truss Foodworks Smokehouse. After a campfire back at the cabin we settled in for our last night before heading home the next day.

My favorite part was when you told Huddy you didn't catch a fish. Huddy was running the show this time. The weather was beautiful. Everyone was happy at the cozy cabin with so many luxuries that you usually don't have. Excellent video even if you didn't catch a fish! Thanks

Jim, you spent the afternoon listening to nature, you caught listening to the ice, birds, wildlife, being in the sun which is Vitamin D, which gave you the energy and the patience to be with your children, and same for Tory. Glad you had a great time!

This seemed like such a relaxing trip, compared to some of your others. Great job! I’m so impressed with how much stronger Wesley is, and the muscle control he has. Huddy’s vocabulary and fine motor skills are pretty incredible, too. Like this tiny cabin better than the last. Pretty cool trip, Baird Family!
