I have fond memories of catching the bus to kanchipuram, Tirupati, Bangalore etc from Broadway bus stand in the 1980s as a kid.

In 1994 during bifurcation North madras had Dr Ambedkar Transport head office Aynavaram, South Madras retained Pallavan transport. One interesting thing poondamalle depot was in the middle, so this depot was divided. Busses operating in porur Mangadu route was PTC(V), busses operating in Poondamalle high road and avadi route became DATC(Z). In 1997 PTC became MTC Division 1, DATC became MTC Divosion 2. In 2001 both were merged as MTC, but still Poondamalle depot had 2 depots. In 2003 end both the depots were merged.

ஐயா தெளிவாக சொன்னீர்கள். அந்தப் பகுதியில் பூமிக்கு கீழே மெட்ரோ ரயில் பாதை வேறு அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்தப் பாதையில் ஒடும் ரயில்களால் ஏற்படக்கூடிய அதிர்வு பின்னாளில் புதிய கட்டிடத்திற்கு பாதிப்பு எதையும் ஏற்படுத்துமா என்பதையும் ஆராய வேண்டும்.

Whats the point sir ? Broadway bustand and pookadai area was conjested outstation buses operated from there so they changed to koyambedu,then kilambakkam,now again bustand for 300 crores in Broadway ,a multi story building with shops ,does the government have brain ?

This speaker doesn't want TN and Chennai to progress and develop! He is always complaining about new buildings! We shouldn't demolsh historic buildings that are in good condition, however going against such new buildings is wrong and i think he has an ulterior motive to defame our current government. Why isnt he talking about the absolutely useless statue of unity? Why isnt he talking about demolition of a the historic babri masjid? He seems to only target our state government! 🤣🤣
