What a quest guys! I hope you go back for another try on that big mama pike! Just a tip: I think next time you should also put some dreg hooks on or behind the Waterwolf camera, pike always seems very interested in those underwater camera's. It's like when they spot a hunting fish (camera) and go for it instead of going for the hunted prey fish (your lure). Hunting fish always triggers other predators in the neighboorhood.

I’m so glad to be living in scandinavia. I know a pond thats next to a wide river, with shallow trench connecting then. It’s really quiet most of the year but for a 4 or 5 days in the summer it is absolutely packed with huge pike probaply cause due mating season of the baitfish. I’m just hoping to be on the spot this year

i am amazed ! i would have thrown a decent sized swimming lure in the mix , or a giant heddon spook! and walk the dog tactics. not to mention maybe a johnson's silver minnow with a giant twistertail. or a buzzbait or inline spinner or bucktail.

Cool channel. Im eagerly awaiting pike season here so im watching a lot of fishing vids. Definitely subbing you guys are amazing. One thing about spinner baits (i noticed in that second session it kept getting hit but wouldnt commit to a full bite) is that i find they are really hard to set the hook on. It's usually a 50/50 it seems. Have you guys tried any spoons like the classic dardevle or the five o' diamonds? Works really well for big pike up here, although not weedless.

I have a mental image of a largemouth bass that was an absolute monster. It came out on a big topwater lure I left sitting after a long cast. I got a phone call while casting and stopped to answer before I started a retrirve. I hung up a minute or 2 after the cast. Started with 1 twitch and the largest bass I have ever seen jumped out and made my lure look small. It was amazing. I don't know, but without any embellishments that bass had a mouth the size of a dinner plate. Since, one 10 something was caught (not by me). That wasn't the fish. Since, my pond went dry with the Texas drought. I have 1 pond that didn't and it has a giant 2 in it. Let's hope we get it. I can't imagine if I had footage of it to prove it. I would watch it every day. It was that neat to see.
