Watch UHD-4K for low altitude overflight of the city of Groningen. Take-off at Eelde International with ATC. A ´storm´ landing on the island of Norderney with beautiful views. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my scooter so I only took a short walk after the breakneck landing 😇🛬.
Groningen-Eelde Airport with 21 Euro, no Restaurant (almost never open) becomes less fun anyway. Münster-Osnabruck with 10 Euro and several places to eat is just a bit better then. Always good is practising ATC (Air Traffic Control) anyway, which is how I came in nice directly behind a Business Jet. D-KBBW NR 2. The video shows the departure procedure well. With ´Behind Landing Traffic line up and wait behind´ I had a smooth take-off. There was only 1 KLM practice aircraft ahead of me this time 😂. Sometimes you have to wait considerably longer. KLM flies here a lot and that makes it more lively than Münster anyway.
Actually, I only wanted to show the overflight of Groningen City. In the end I did add Eelde at the beginning and Norderney at the end. The landing was exciting on the island of Norderney, in Groningen the wind was already max 19 knots (approx 36 KMH). On Norderney almost gale (55 KMH), so there was nobody there, at least not on the airfield. Very brave and a great learning experience.
Another round in the clouds completes the video. The views are stunning. Hardly anyone watches these videos, so I left most of it out. Personally, I still have fun making and watching back all the material. Viel Spass!
