A bit different this one. This is a short film of an urban pack rafting trip from the Riverside Museum in Glasgow via Krispy Kremes in Braehead for coffee and donuts and on to the Ferry Inn at Renfrew for a pint (as you do).

Hello from Canada! Love that video! I grew up in the back woods of Ontario camping fishing canoeing hiking! Then moved to the big city. I miss those canoeing days! Loved this video! You brought back awesome memories of hot days and cold drinks floating down the river! Setting up camp big bonfires fresh fish and more cold drinks! The best times!

I remember that a shuttle service left the Broomielaw for the Braehead Centre about 10 years ago. It made a couple of stops on the way. I think that it used the pier behind what was then a maritime museum, now Krispy Kreme.

always been interested in a packraft but our local lakes have a lot of submerged trees, how solid are they if you paddle into a stick?

They are designed to take a bit of abuse but theres a compromise between weight and durability. The heavy duty ones are cheaper and will cope with a lot of abuse. Ours are lighter for carrying in your pack and although the floors are Kevlar you have to be aware of anything really sharp , thanks for watching. A
