I really appreciate the Twilight company references. That novel was unlike any other, and it really made me think a lot about my own career as an infantryman in the army.

X wings not firing their weapons with the s foils closed is a safety feature. The foils need to be open for cooling purposes, repeated firing with them closed would rapidly result in overheating issues. One can presumably override the safeties.

I thought the Tie Fighter that Sabine repainted was autopiloted into a Star Destroyer and used as a bomb. Maybe not, I somehow remember one Stormtrooper saying something about the paintjob and another saying "I like it" before it exploded

Wouldnt an imperial era TIE without hyperdrive capability be the WORST ship to use when searching unknown space for Ezra?

It's been pointed out that the Temperance is mistakenly ID'd as a Nebulon-B when it should be a MC-75 as it will be depicted in the upcoming Squadrons game. Maybe the Nebulon-B Temperance will be destroyed in some manner in book three and the name transferred to the MC-75.

A major one for me is that while chass is seeing the cultist destroy the weapons one of the weapons mentioned is a ancient beam tube gun. Those guns date back to xim the despot and were first seen in han solo and the lost legacy

Maybe Q/A (I don't know if this has been covered because I've been avoiding anything that might get into Shadow Fall plot): I just finished finished Shadow Fall tonight, but Vanguard Squadron's involvement in the novel has me speculating about the green-tinted city-planet in the first Squadrons trailer - along with Wyl recognizing two of the Vanguard voices but only naming one, Tssat. Would you place any bets on Troithe appearing in Squadons?

0:58 one correction: Twilight Company never made an appearance in the Alphabet Squadron book. In fact, Shadow Fall is the unit's second (novel) appearance.

I listen to all my books on Audible, but I just can't get into this one. I don't know if it's the story or characters not gripping me, or the overuse of the distorted "comm" sound that makes it hard to understand the narrator sometimes. Either way, I find myself wanting to go back to re-listening to the Wheel of Time series.

Not really liking this book series. I find reading through it a chore. I'm more interested in the Force than I am the war part of Stat Wars.
