Thank you, Kristina. Is the translation "I have a touch of flu" correct for У меня начинается грипп? A touch of flu means mild flu.

I think it is. Literally "у меня начинается грипп" means "I'm beginning to have flu". What's the most accurate way to say this in English? I'm coming down with the flu? Is it very different from "I have a touch of flu"?

So probably "I'm coming down with flu" is a better translation. That would mean that it things are just starting and you don't really know how they will develop. "A touch of flu" just means "mild symptoms" without any indication of how long it has lasted. On the other hand, if you had bad flu but are feeling much better now, you wouldn't say you have a "touch of flu". But the main thing is do not get flu or anything similar.
