Cheers Neville. It's 240 @ .050" on a 110 and .580" lift.
@@mcrennagade873 Cheers mate. This one was a Comp XE-284 with Rhoads V max lifters adjusted at .020" hot clearance. Gave about 2" extra vacuum at idle and made it a lot more drivable at low rpm with the manual trans. I retarded the cam 4 degrees from it's recommended setting to make it work properly, with the cam set to the recommended specs it was prone to ping at lower revs with the lifters set like that. Cheers.

@PATRICK Veeninga Cheers Patrick, they're a good thing I reckon. They certainly make a big lumpstick easier to tame in traffic. Cheers, Steve.

What compression ratio is this motor?
@Mr357Cleveland Жыл бұрын
10.7 from memory, but that's a genuine figure. Not like the 11 to 1 figures quoted in the Musclecar era, that when sometimes tested, were in the 9's.👍
