@@robertcol783 had to switch mos to 35m but i got a 25,000 bonus, didnt have one for 35f

So 35m is the mos that I wanted from the jump. Recruiter said I had to take the DLAB to qualify. I took the test, got a “good” score (like 80 something I think) but recruiter said not high enough to get 35m. Is this true? Is there a way around it? Really want 35m. Thank you!

Sounds like a job I would really like and excel in (No pun intended). Always did well on computers and certain areas you noted, sure it’s not all going to be happy colors and rainbows but that’s how it would be in any MOS. Swore in 2 days ago and looking forward to begin my career as a 35-Fox!! Looking to challenge myself and go for the long haul!! Wish me luck on my Clearance, Basic and AIT!! Also signed up for the 4 option to go AIRBORNE at Fort Benning!!

Hi, another 35F hopeful here. I also have an Airborne contract and a guaranteed station at Bragg - I was wondering if you had any insight as to what 35F is like in 2022, and in an Airborne unit if you're in one.

I remember that NTC had a restaurant. The name of it was the Oasis. I don’t know if it is still in operation.

So MI doesn't need to go to out to the box? I went to NTC as a 12b a few years ago, and am reclassing to 35N this year. If life on the pine is what I can expect at NTC...I should have picked this branch years ago.

Is 35n in the field more? How does 35f get more field work?

Does 35F be in the field doing infantry or you stay inside all the time, never get any type of action?

Depends exactly where/what level of command you’re stationed, but generally stay inside never get any action. For example, I never did any type of infantry battle drills outside of basic training. I honestly couldn’t tell you what they are. Shot at the range twice a year, 3 times max.

@@PWill ok I’m researching and notice that green beret also have intelligence analyst too. Do you think I if I choose 18X and tell someone I wanna do 35f, would that increase the chance of me to get stationed to have both? I don’t want to be in the office all day. I would like to see my analyst work through to the end by being part of the infantry teams that is going in

@@markerx12 from my understanding, special forces intel analyst isn’t something new guys can do. After you have been on a team for a few years, you are chosen to become one if they believe you are capable of performing that role. Shoot for the stars though man. Go special forces or infantry if that’s what you want to do, and as long as your asvab is high enough, you can always reclass into intelligence. Or sign up for 35F Option 40 Airborne Ranger contract, get some experience in SOF, and then go into special forces.
