I am a 53 -year old man. I met my wife when we were young and poor university students and we have been married 25 years. Seven years ago, my wife was diagnosed an aggressive breast cancer. Her both breasts were removed, she lost her hair and gained weight due to heavy medical treatments. I think you women can feel the overwhelming anxiety she had... Her worst fear was that I would leave her because she was no longer as beautiful as before. It took years for her to believe that I am not going anywhere. In some point, she gave me permission to leave and she would understand it. I told her many times, that I am not with you because of your breasts or hair, I am here because who you are!
