朴の木&苦木の挽き直しです。
朴の木の渋い緑、苦木の鮮やかな黄色、どちらがお好きですか?

You and your family and your shop should be made a NATIONAL TREASURE! I would definitely NOMINATED you here in the United States! What and how you do what you do is a lost art,even though you are using modern technology to an extent! The care you show to the wood you cut is what I think is lacking elsewhere today! It is ALL about QUANTITY and NOT the QUALITY! WHEREAS YOU ARE THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE, and the END PRODUCT IS WHAT makes the point! You can not TEACH it, you have to be born with it! It definitely makes you a true TREASURE!

It's a Testament to the care you show the saw ,that IT is able to take just a millimeter off the entire wide of those slbs,especially since they have been dry for so long! Bravo!

I am sure that AIR DRIED wood is better than kiln dried! The fact that it is allowed to flex with the natural process and NOT FORCED to dry,keeps it from building up internal stresses that are not seen until it is cut! I have had a few pieces of the same tree, that were dried both in a kiln and a couple air dried and the air dried was much easier to work with it didn't twist and bow as it was ripped! Plus the AROMA of the WOOD was much more pronounced with the AIR DRIED! I have no problem paying a little more for air dried wood, I know that it takes up a lot of room for a long period of time, but the END RESULT is ABSOLUTELY WORTH The WAIT!

Those people are working so respectfull with eachother, i have respect for them. I think that they have so much wisdom about wood as that this wood old is. Give them my love and respect. If i see how they work with this old wood it's amazing. Beautifull wood for your table. I hope it will shine in the place you put it in. Greetings from The Netherlands Harry

Cough, cough, cough. Now that's what you call aged timber. Kyushu you have asked a difficult question when it comes to timber but since green is one of my favorite colors, I would choose that. They are all beautiful though.❤ Thanks for the vid. The Ole fella from Downunda. Greg

Thank you very much for your wonderful comment☆(*^_^*) We are very happy that you like our videos! It is true that you will get on and off the cart many times during work. I've never counted them before, but that's an interesting point of view. It's hard work for the old body, but it's also a secret to health because it's going to be exercise with nature.

HOW MUCH OF YOUR WOOD IS AIR DRIED AND HOW MUCH IS KILN DRIED?
@kirishimasawmill

Thank you for all the comments ☆(*^_^*) We do everything by natural drying. These days more and more mills are kiln drying, but we're doing it the old-fashioned way. Although it is difficult, I believe that natural drying is the best for trees. (*^_^*)
