I don’t like the idea of Metal Sonic appearing in the end credits and saved for the 3rd movie. I would appreciate it if he appeared when Knuckles teams up with Sonic and Robotnik expects that and unleashes the robot.

This made me even more hyped,happy,and excited to watch the Sequel,what if Tom saving Sonic is because in the Wedding they had the Portal Ring and Sonic has the Wedding Ring,also something you should know of the Power of the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald is that both have Positive and Negative Energy,meaning that everytime Sonic,Shadow,and Silver becoming Yellow is to the Positive Energy while in the Wrong Hands brings up the Negative Energy.

There is no Positive or Negative chaos energy. It's a mistranslation. More accurate is when used with good and heroic intentions it's ends up in something like Super forms, while being used in bad, evil, and vengencefull intentions it's ends in things like Perfect Chaos.

My personal theory for the ending is that after the chaos in this film, GUN will believe that they need a counter measure to sonic and robotnik, which will then set up shadow for the 3rd film. And it’ll set up the idea of an imposter sonic leading the way to an all out war between sonic, shadow, and eventually metal by the end of the 3rd.

The marketing for this film has phenomenal. Not just with the trailers (which are gorgeous and super hype), but a poster that recreates the original Sonic 2 game cover? Heck freaking yes! This movie is going to be AWESOME.

I’m excited for the movie so much! I’ve been a Sonic fan for years and the first one was amazing. Usually sequels never do good in the box office but looks like this one will change that. This sequel has all the things Sonic fans want: more classic characters, the master emerald, the Easter eggs, the action, etc. I actually have two theories about what could happen at the post credit scenes: 1. It shows the introduction to Shadow as everyone is hoping for 2. Another portal opens up and we get the introduction to the fourth member of Sonic’s crew and love interest, Amy Rose. Which one happens, I’m so hyped for this movie!

Everything that I've seen so far in these trailers for sonic 2 I could not imagine happening in sonic 1, sonic 1 only had 5 references, mushroom hill, "green hills", the egg mobile, and the emerald on the map and them everything else was just a normal movie besides sonic changing it, but this has so many references, knuckles wasn't even supposed to be in the movie but they got that good budget

I have to admit, this looks soooo awesome! Hell even the movie poster that recreates the game cover is just proof of how much love and care is going into this franchise. My only concern is that I think they are moving through the lore far too quickly, I mean we really haven't been introduced to Tails yet and now we also have Knuckles and the Master Emerald to contend with without having even seeing the original Chaos Emeralds. I hope we don't burn out too quickly...

I liked the part when Donut Lord was explaining his bucket list to Sonic. Actually I loved every moment in the first movie Edit actually no I didn’t love every moment but it was all fantastic either way and I’m pretty sure I could recognize any part of the movie just based on the expression on Sonic’s face.

My dad's cousin recently came over to my house and he is a stunt director or something along those terms. He was talking about his next project he was going to work on called, "Untitled: Chip and Dale" and it didn't have a title yet. He said the script was crazy. 6:14 That scene over there,the one where Robotnick is boosted whit the power from the master emerald, could be a reference to the "Fleetway comic's" I mean, Robotnick turned into a god because of the chaos energy in one of these editorials numbers... Just so you know, in the comics Scourge went from blue to green because he got cut off mid transformation, maybe thats why eggman builds a giant robot, he doesn't have full power yet, but Sonic does making him yellow!

I know that the moon laser is a reference to the regular sonic adventure 2 game, but I can’t ever stop thinking about Eggman pissing on the moon in that fandub lmao it’s forever ingrained in my mind. It’s all I’m gonna think about when I see this scene in theaters
