Why are layer lines necessary? What if we want the surface to just "bump" according to the type of shader -- wood grain for example? You should also show the 3d printed object so we can see the effect!

Awesome shader! I’m glad I found your channel it has a lot of useful stuff. I am a collectible sculptor so I’m more focused in the sculpting side and I’m not that experienced with shaders, I found your chroma key setup really useful, thanks a lot! One question though, would you happen to have a node setup or an older video explaining how to make a clear resin shader? I’m trying to recreate the big anime statue effects with no luck, I’ve been trying with glass, glossy, layer weight and all that but I just can’t get a nice effect

Simple SSS should do the trick for resin since you really don't need/want layer lines here - I think ;) SSS = Sub-Surface Scattering

The infills are tricky 😬 My approach was to make "something chaotic" that looks like infill 😁
