I am a mother of three; just doing my best to raise Godly children and find joy doing it. I am a busy wife as I strive to make intentional parenting my goal while making my relationship with my husband my priority. My passion is teaching and I find myself hoarding most teaching/office supplies in my closets. I am the creator of the Preschool With Me, distance learning preschool program. I love to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my kiddos, and History. All my other interests can fit nicely into one word: Pinterest. I love baking, decorating, dreaming, making, free fun printables, motivational quotes, tips, tricks, and ideas by the millions. Lastly, I have an unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ and base my entire life around His Gospel; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This channel is dedicated first to my husband who is my better half and to my mother who inspired it all.

My girl is in second grade this year and we are doing Evan Moor Financial Literacy for 2nd. We enjoy it. Our book has some crazy names in it for kids and that is the only thing that seems a little much to me. Just like they were reaching and trying too hard with the names. 😄 I was not expecting it to be so teacher intensive either so we add it in here and there with our regular math curriculum, which is RightStart Math. We are also doing Real World Writing from Evan Moor and my girl loves that. She got to make her own journal and it has really helped her understand how to use it. Her writing has improved so much! I love me some Evan Moor! I love using different workbooks from them to piece together my Language Arts curriculum. Happy homeschooling!

I feel the same way about Financial Literacy being very teacher heavy. And, the names! 🤣 so so true. Love your other choices too! Thanks for sharing.

How you ever thought about getting the Evan moor teacher toolbox subscription. You would have to print them out yourself but you use a ton of their products so I feel like it will save you money.

I have had it before. But I’m just too much a paper person that I feel overwhelmed with how much there actually is there. It’s awesome for sure. GREAT when we are doing road school and I don’t want to pack all the books.

We are in 2nd this year! But we know we'll be using teaching textbooks 😊 and Im looking into NJU English , we are similar! looking forward to next year! Question, how long does BJU take with video and student work?

No video is more than 15 minutes that I remember. It’s been great for my daughter. With the work page, probably about 20 minutes for the subject.

I don’t see the assignment tracker sheet in your teacher pay teacher page. I’m also curious what else is in that spiral notebook you have the page in!

I don’t have one in my shop anymore. I use to but someone claimed I took their intellectual property so I am no longer able to make it available on that platform. All the pages in that notebook are the same. Just a new one for each week of our school year.

Would it work to rotate when your kids did the financial literacy so only one kid did it a day? (Have 2 do Geography and 1 do finance with you.... Then another day two do handwriting and one do finance.... If that makes sense).
