Katherine was such a complex character. I never got to hating her even after everything she did.

Katherine loved Damon but she was IN love with Stefan. There is a difference.

I love how Katherine dropped everything including her freedom to save Damon's life!!!! Katherine still cares for Salvatore brothers and loves them too

Stefan + Kathrine = Power

This episode just proves how great the entire 3rd season is. Definitely my favourite season. So many characters, and each and every one of them with their own plans, ambitions and goals. Continuing backstabs, betrayals, but also unexpected alliances just like the one witnessed in this scene. The story changed rapidly, favored noone for too long and, most importantly, wasn't ridiculous - back when everything was fresh and the more vampire/witch lore we learned, the more excited we got. A thrilling and entertaining rollercoaster that began with Katherine's arrival in season 2 and built up more and more with the introduction of Rose, werewolves, the hybrid curse, Elijah, Klaus and all other members of the Original family. Season 3 was the peak of awesomness for this show, truly a "golden age" of Diaries. I will always hold this show dear because of how addictive it used to be and it doesn't matter if next seasons weren't as good. Its the best seasons that stay in our memories, and 1-3 will always stay in mine.

so basically Katherine just saved them all lol they didnt knew back then when klaus is killed all the bloodlines link to him is dead too.

Stefan keeps on proving he's so selfless for Damon when he gives two shits about him except Elena! Statherine is a power couple 🔥

This episode showed us so much ♥ -Stefan loves Damon over everyone. -Katherine still holds power over Stefan. -Elena is willing to let Stefan go for Damon

yes I know that Katherine loved Stefan more,but she loved them both and the writers said neither Steferine or Datherine are done

Finally, it's Katherine who make Stefan feels. It's great ♥

As much as I love Katherine, she completely contradicts what she said about not loving Damon in season 2. in 2x01 she says "The truth is I never loved you. It was always Stefan." Yet here she says that she HAS in fact loved Damon. What?!

This was the moment when I realized how awesome Katherine and Stefan are together :)

I love Stefan and Katherine together. There's this certain chemistry between them that there isn't between him and Elena for some reason. I'm going to keep saying that I think Stefan&Katherine | Damon&Elena are endgames. Because, to me at least, there are always so many signs / parallels / signals pointing to that. And I really hope that that's what it ends up being.

I love these two together. I think that despite everything Katherine's done to him, Stefan still kinda loves her and she clearly still loves him. These two need to get together next season.

Who loves that Katherine actually admited that she loved Damon, and that she did it by actually saying the words and just subtly? Its the scene I've been waiting for, for around 3 years now, even though I dnt really ship Katherine/Damon anymore its still one of the best things ever.

yes Katherine is still alive.this episode was made 3 episodes after Mikael dragged her into his coffin.after the first plan failed,Katherine decided to leave Mystic Falls so she could be as far away from Klaus as possible until he died.so there's 99% chance we'll see her in the season finale

this type of scenes showed there were a possibility of Stefan Katherine to be the end game. well, they at least died together.

Guys, let's face it. Stefan and Elena are not the life of the party. But as VLTforeverxx said above, Stefan and katherine have an understanding and so do Damon and Katherine. She's the only person who was alive and knew them when they were humans, so she understands them well. i think Stefan and katherine have a lot of chemistry and i think they're relationship is not only about chemistry but also about their understanding for each other and overall relatinship. how can people say katherine doesnt love stefan and damon. 1. she was prepared to sacrifice her freedom for damon. 2. she stood up to klaus in 2x22 so stefan wouldnt get hurt (did anyone else notice?) 3. she wouldnt have made them both rings had she not. 4. time and time again, she's there for them, whether shell admit it or not. if stefan and damon died, i think it would ruin katherine

I do think it means something that Katherine was the only one who could get through to Stefan but she also understands the brotherly bond better than Elena because she was there when Stefan and Damon were essentially best friends. She knew how they were before she corrupted them. Elena got the broken Salvatore brothers. But now that Damon and Stefan are finally in a good place again, she understands their bond. Still, I want Katherine to come back.

maybe becuase out of everyone Katherine and Stefan are the most similar. they both have an evil side, the difference is that Katherine lets it control her and her good side, her love is deep inside, where as Stefan has a dark side deep inside and the goodness is on the surface. they are pretty much the same, thats why she understands him so well. Katherine always gets what she wants lol and if you think about it... so does stefan

Finally Steferine!!!!! OMG I will never stop shipping them ever! Before season 2 I never thought of them as a couple really. Katherine was always my fav but I never thought of her and Stefan. But in early season 2 I starting liking them and after 2x04 everything changed. I've been shipping them since :)

@katherinepierce4eva The reason why it was so easy for her to do that is because Klaus stopped compelling Stefan. And Stefan only cares enough for Damon to get his humanity back

I think Stefan & Katherine and Damon & Elena should be the two endgames. Katherine is the only person who got through to him and made him feel his humanity again. And in 1864, Stefan is the person who made Katherine get in touch with hers. Same with Damon and Elena, Elena managed to get through with Damon's humanity.

@Feoury Elena and Damon didnt give up on him though. They have no idea what Stefan is doing and as far as they know he ruined they're plans and took off. If they really knew what he was doing they would understand. And technically Stefan had his humanity back a long time ago. He felt for his brother but he doesnt want to let it all back in because he'll feel guilty

I count that as giving up I mean they knew something was up when Stefan stopped Damon but they automatically just assumed he was ruining the plan. I suppose we won't know if they truly gave up until next episodes but still.
