4/28/18 The Fillmore & Western Steam Railfest 2018 and CPR 2839(A Royal 4-6-4 Hudson)

6 жыл бұрынHere is the footage we got during our recent visit to the Fillmore & Western Railway to capture Fillmore & Western #14 in action, the prop locomotives built for the film "The Lone Ranger," a special paint job on the FWRY F7 101, and much more! Prior to Fillmore, we made a brief stop in Slymar, CA to see the Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 Royal Hudson 2839 and private business car "California" from public view as part of the Nethercutt collection. This is the first time we catch a great glimpse of those two hidden beauties. Enjoy some steam and awesome equipment sights in this video. Plus, check out these videos that 455amtrak took:

Sweet! It is really nice to see such a pleasant line still in business, especially after the scare a few years ago. It is unfortunate that my home Orange County doesn't have anything like this. It would really help both education and entertainment. Thanks for getting shots of the Lone Ranger prop trains by the way. I still wish Disney had kept them for at least set dressing.

The Fillmore & Western Railway isn't that far from Orange County (California, that is.). It's maybe a two hour drive... depending on traffic and where in the OC you are coming from.

What happened to the Rs-32 that they had? Im hearing they blew a piston while trying to pull an impossible consist on notch 8...

1:21 those locomotives in the blue and yellow are in back to the future 3. they destroyed the delorean.

Question is, do They both even run ?

The two engines beside the #14 are both prop locomotives so I believe they are not able to move under their own power.
