I recently was in the office at work and this particular afternoon the server was down. One of my coworkers started talking to me about how she was getting bored and didn't want to work anymore. I joked with her and said, "O well I guess that means I have more work for me." She laughed and said to me, "Don't you dare take my work from me." The she went back to work for awhile. She asked me, "Is it time to go home yet?" I said,"I'm not keeping you here am I?" She laughed again. I then started doing a count down until it was time to clock out. Since then I think I've drawn her attention. She asks for help with things from coworkers and I immediately step in and help. The most recent interaction I had with her I asked if she to watch after something I forgot at the office. She said sure but only if you promise to help me when I need it. I said sure. The next day she could find a zoom link for a team meeting. I remembered I owed her a favor so before anyone else I jumped into action and sent her the link before my other coworkers could. Later that day I had to go into the office and I pick up the thing I asked her to keep for me. As I left to go to a Physical therapy appointment I remembered her saying to me. "I can focus, I'm getting kind of punchy." I replied "Well don't punch me!" She laughed. With other coworkers around us I then said, "I'm going to my appointment now. Watch out for this one ladies she says she's get punchy and I wouldn't want any of you to get hurt." They all laughed and as the coworker I'm interested in laughed she made and held eye contact with me for about a second or so. Long story short should I keep doing what I've been doing? I know she's single and I have flexibility with my position so I don't need to always be in the office. I would hate for us to get fired for entering a relationship together. But there's mutual interest right now.

Why the fuck is it always about what guys have to do? We literally have to do everything from get that career, style, game, conversation skills, how to talk a certain way, behave a certain way, have certain social skills, leading skills, flirt, tease, and probably more things, etc etc etc just to please and attract a fucking chick. Up until the 1990's, this was acceptable. Now it's a minefield. What should we do?
