Saw a study on charisma which claimed it was a combination of competence and concern for the other person. So let’s see… 1.) focus your full attention, shows its worth your full attention, hence concern. 2.) make decisions and take full responsibility, show’s faith in planning and a expectation it was going to turn out well, hence competence. 3.) listen first & speak second, shows concern. 4.) don’t move or speak fast, shows confidence in how things will turn out, hence competence
@gmorl
@gmorl 10 ай бұрын
The listen first part also means you allow others to make mistakes on their own. The more you let an idiot talk, the more evidence they give that they're an idiot. Same with liars.. let a liar talk and they'll show you all you need to know.

How come narciisists have charisma? Like stalking their prey?
@youngone1985
@youngone1985 9 ай бұрын
@@sandrashane677 Easy, it's our own vanity that narcissist use against us. Vanity is believing you possess something of value. When we learn we neither possess nor have much value in someone who only cares for themselves and feed our insecurities, but not meet our expectations we call them a narcissist. I image many folks are labeled narcissists because they were SUPPOSED to meet either unreasonable expectations or imbalanced transactional expectations and did not or they were SUPPOSED to value what we offered more than what they wanted and so in our minds they are big bad narcissists.

Years ago when I had different life...a guy took knife against me...but I continue to walk slowly to him, looking at his eyes and.. the guy run away.. There were also situation when I was ask for help. The guy stand with big stick, wild and unpredictable. ..but I get an eye contact with him and walk around slowly , making distance shorter...he start to walk back into old building...there were doors but no light, but I walk after him into darkness and wait for him there. .he hide somewhere like a cockroach.

Pull a gun on a Russian mafia head? Not just your family..your entire DNA will be erased from history. Even ultra hardcore Arian brotherhood type dudes are not suicidal

Maybe the accent isn't Russian, but I'm sure that it's a Slavic accent. "Bratan"=bro (in Russian language) and how he says "have": khaf 🤔

I can totally agree with #2 I have a friend, which i would call the least charismatic of our group, who can never say yes or no if he would join. He would always "tell me then"...
