A superb breakdown of the song and the thinking behind the structure. Thank you so much for all your clever insights and fundamental skillset. All your fans are on a wonderful ride that encourages us to constantly reach for new heights in our musical / bluegrass knowledge and history. Great video! Love the visuals and how you organized the timeline! Just an interesting side note: Tony's very first "solo" album was recorded in 1973 with JD Crowe, Larry Rice and Bobby Slone. It was funded by a Japanese business man. It had "Doin my Time" , "Reuben", "Freeborn Man", "Salt Creek", "John Hardy", etc.

Your the first person i know of that breaks down manzanita , i learned the older version a long time ago , wish KZfaq had been around back then , i had to learn it off a cassette i got from my dad .
