My nephrologist put me on chlorthalidone to get rid of excess water. It helps, but I don't like taking ANOTHER med. I'm 2 years post and I still take a lot of meds. You look great, and this information is helpful.

Thank you so much for this information and I appreciate your candor. I was recently diagnosed with ITP and just finished a course of 40 mg total each morning of Dexamerhasone for four days and its effects were mostly insomnia but today on my last day I noticed a little reddish color on my cheeks and a slight bit of fullness in my face. I know I might need to stay on this course if my platelets counts don’t increase and I have to change my diet. and I’m hoping for the best 😊
