Surely there is no other place in this whole wonderful world quite like Lakeland...No other so exquisitely lovely, no other so charming, no other that calls so insistently across a gulf of distance...All who truly love Lakeland are exiles when away from it....It's so good to be back.
Not been for a wild camp for a long time, so i decided it was time to get the tent out again...i chose to go up to the Lake District. When it comes to beautiful scenery, nowhere else can match it...I plumped for a walk in the Eastern fells, A walk from Grasmere. While out walking i managed to add another 4 Wainwright tops to my 2nd round list..
Nab scar..1450ft
Heron pike..2003ft
Great rigg..2513ft
Stone Arthur..1652ft
This takes my 2nd round tally up to 59..

What a nice treat this film was, unfortunately I’ve been bitten by the black dog of depression and not been feeling too good. This film certainly improved my spirits and I even liked the panda joke. Yes it’s a strange phenomenon that human beings must be close to others. Guess it’s a primal herding instinct designed as a safety measure. Then to leave rubbish that is a total cardinal sin. FIVE STAR FILM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks Mike....hope the Black dog didn't dig his teeth in too deeply...Panda joke??...it was a true story !!...as for my neighbours, they were as hard as nails Geordies. wouldn't want to mess with them....get yourself out for a walk tomorrow, everything will seem so much better....just keep walking and everything will be OK.

Every other KZfaqr is getting lucky with the weather at the moment! Whenever I pick the camera up, the heavens open. Stone Arthur was one of those stragglers when I was doing the Wainwrights. I ended up having to bag it on its own. Should have been more organised. Well done for picking up that litter. Why do people think that’s OK?!
