The accelerator drill was made popular by Ben Stoeger. It's a simple 3-target setup with open targets at 7y, 15y, and 25y. It's a great drill to get your eyes used to seeing just enough sight confirmation to get your hits at different distances.
As I try to build my own skills, I've found it really important to be able to train by layering multiple skills on top of each other. It forces many complex things to be done subconsciously so that I can focus on the hardest task at hand -- vision focus.
