My first match at JCSSA was really fun, esp with a great squad. It was only 5 stages but most of them were 30+ round stages which was nice. It was also my first time shooting in wet terrain so I was careful to not slip, as I did in my dry runs.
In preparation for the match, I cleaned my gun, bought new mags, and increased my hammer spring from 14# to 16.5#. Even after all that I still experienced a double feed on one of the stages which cost me 4.5s.
On a positive note, I felt like my transitions were on point today and my vision focus was maintained throughout all runs except for the one with the malfunction.
