And no, I highly doubt that actors if this calibre would STILL rely on such cheap tricks when they can basically just phone in every performance they do from now on as they have reached massive wealth long, long ago and don't actually need to keep acting; at this point its more for fun rather than for pay. Another much more plausible theory to Pitt's eating I hear was that he's a chainsmoker and when he can't smoke on set he eats instead to keep the need for smoking at bay. Sounds much more logical than 'my drama teacher said I should eat stuff to look humane regardless of what character I play'.
