Kinda like the dems with the election: Dems: We love Democracy and must have a free and fair election. We care about the average citizen and will listen to you! Guns are bad and no one needs weapons of war to protect themself. Also Dems: There is no need to investigate any claims of voter fraud! You plebs don’t deserve transparency! We are super duper smart with our college degrees and know what’s best for the common man, even though we hide from them in our gated mansions. Protected by guards armed with those same weapons.

I feel every time the IOM would lose they find some MacGuffin in some forgotten vault. That's just boring and unimaginative. Also the reason I think the IOM is doomed. They don't develop but simply keep using the inventions of greater minds.

they are a deign empire all they have left are vaults ...so much forgotten never to be learned again.....but they will die hard and the galaxy will burn if they are ever defeated ...but the emperor (blessed be him who protects) will awake one day and bring them back to the glory of true science that was the imperial truth before Horus had his hissy fit and fucked shit up .....for now thought they just need to hang on and its bad asses like the black Templar's who will keep wrecking heretics till that day comes!

@@SirDeadPuppy Should have stayed true to the Imperial Creed then. Once (or if) the Emperor returns the civil war will probably destroy what's left of it anyway. Only chance is to completely rebuild from scratch and not to trust mankind to a mortal figure.

@@OneMindSyndicate Hopefully no one sends the Inquisition. We already have a surplus of fanatics here. But doing so might be the first sensible thing the Imperium has achieved since the Emperor was transformed into a dried-out vegetable. Before the schism/retcon of the Tau, of course, they seemed eerily similar to the ideal Imperium foreseen by the Emperor of Mankind. Something to balance out all that ludicrous fanatism would have been nice. But maybe that was why they were changed.
