7 ай бұрынI have repaired a few TV's in my time and they are not as hard to repair as everyone thinks. So far I have only had 1-2 that was not repairable. If screen is cracked, throw it away as it is not worth repairing. Most of the time, like this TV, the problem is bad capacitors. So I decided to bring you along in this video to show you how to identify and replace the bad capacitors and hopefully get this TV up and running again.

needs new back lights by the look how blue it is

I will have to agree, I have noticed a blue tint still there as well.

The section above the 2 capacitors and the number 470 on my board is dark like its burnt so im guessing i have to order the entire board but the tv still looks brand new.

I am gonna say yes, If the board is burnt. Sometimes you can replace the bad components but is sometimes very hard to figure out what they are.

doesn't look like its fixed, - it was blue, and now its magenta! maybe it was because you messed with the settings first? nice job with removing the caps though - i normally go with the twist and pull method first.

Thanks! I messed with the settings and it still has a blue tint, so I believe the back lights are damaged.
