Since it is a press fit how did you get the bearings out? I have some water in the oil so I bought the oil seals. Is it possible to get the seals out of the cylinders without pulling the crank and rods out?

After spider is replaced and the pump coupler is moved up to the motor coupler, it looks like they butt up to each other. Is there suppose to be a small gap (.02) between the two ? Any negative repercussions either way ? I'm going to try this and if there is a way to screw it up, I'll find it.

This is a great video. I know it’s over a year old but it is great . I’ve sense built three of these they are really easy to do and the seal kits are cheap. Thank you sir for the great work gave you a sub . Be safe brother

Great series! Didn't notice any movement / rattling coming from your brake assembly - just purchased a Harley cart built in 1975 and I can jiggle the brake assembly, though the brakes still work. Looks like I just need to tighten things up. Did you happen to take any videos of reassembling the brake?

if you could mass produce those I bet there are alot of saw owners like myself who would buy one I use a mister nozzle and it works but not as good as flood one thing I did was cut a pice of 2x4 wood sawed a kerf in it deeper than the saw blade and just let ride on the blade up at the front guide it wicks some of the chips and coolant off before it goes to the front drive wheel I guess u cold put it in a bracket with a clamp to adjust the pressure it puts on the blade it does wear little

Definitely the red cap is only a shipping cap, it needs a vented cap fitted, because it will pressurise the case if not. Seen lots of videos on these pumps... Great video explains a lot...

how hard would it be to do it on a low profile tire?

I have always just kept the guards on and drive the front wheels over the mower deck. Easier than dragging that heavy deck out the side IMO.

What keeps the rain out? Here in Florida it rains sideways a lot during storms.
@SABsGarage4 ай бұрын
In extremally heavy rains it will keep the majority of the rain out but not all. The rain hits the louvers and drips on a drip edge preventing most of the rain from going inside. Also the pipe inside is about half way up inside the spinner to help with rain. I've only had a few times rain got in and was only a drip or two.

If i was making them for a shop that would be used every day, I'd probably use 4140 or something that is hard and wear resistant. For this I just used what I had lying around, so was probably 1018 cold rolled. Thanks for watching.

Great video. I’m thinking about doing this. My issue is there is water mixing with the oil, turning it white. I am wondering what parts I should replace. Maybe the orings on the 6 valves? Maybe the 3 seals on the pistons? I see online this is a water seal kit and oil seal kit. I would appreciate any advice if you have the time. Thanks
@SABsGarage5 ай бұрын
Thanks, The oil place for oil to get into the water area is the seals behind the piston. So I would look at the pistons and seals for replacement. I will say it can't hurt to replace all the seals while you are there though. Good luck!

I just got the ken Tool duckbilled tire wedge hammer. These are a ton of methods for breaking the bead. I decided on the most simple, effective and least cost. I have to admit that I don't feel comfortable swinging this against a tire. I will most likely place it on the tire and hit it with a dead blow hammer.
