Man, I am so glad to finally see a KZfaq guitar player who plays on about the same level as I am. A breath of fresh air. We play music to have fun and not give a fuck. When you see that player is completely submerged into what he is doing with instrument - this, to me, worth much more than some guy who shreds random combination of notes with insane speed and technique. i have ibanez guitar from China and when i use cable he has so much noise, so i got lucky and found this wireless system in one of the store and i buy it it's price was 15 $, i don't know anything about it, i am just wanted to try, in the end it was amazing and i noted 80% of the noise is gone!

Just got this myself. And for regular use (less than 100 feet away) it works very well. A couple of minor drop outs but I don’t think it’s a big deal. I don’t have $200 to buy a Line 6 one. And I’m thankful there are affordable options like this.

For pedal board use (using one set) put receiver at beginning of pedal chain and use a cable from the last pedal to the amp.

Great job man! The only real thing I would suggest is take about an hour to get a nice setup on your guitar, the notes higher on the neck seem a tad bit sharp. Other than that, great playing and great review!

I have these....they're junk. You get what you pay for. They were cool at first but after while they started cutting out a lot and the black one doesn't keep a charge longer than 20 minutes now

Nice job. Good video. This particular wireless is also available under the name Cuvave WP-1. I have a set. I get a range of around 20m+ or so through walls. The thing I don't like about this particular wireless is that the sound adds treble and loses some bass. In comparison, my Rowin WS-20 wireless sounds as if I'm playing through an actual cable. The Rowin costs $20 more but might be worth it if you want a 1:1 reproduction of the guitar sound. Nice street!

This is a very reasonable review of this product actually, and has reasonably good execution overall. Your methodology was actually overall logical and pretty good. Even the Line6 amp IMHO has a VERY good tone for a transistor amp, and trust me, I have played MANY transistor amps throughout the last 20 years of my life..... So that being said, I think the BEST thing you could've done was to turn off the OBNOXIOUS backing track music for most of the review until you started playing/soloing overtop of the track, at that point, you could activate the track through your PA or speakers or whatever you're using. Anyway, the music was very distracting. However, otherwise, you did a good job reviewing this bro. The guitar is SUCH SUCH SUCH a FUN instrument isn't it? You're doing very well so far actually, alot of soul in your bends and your choice of pentatonic/box style lead solos. Good job. The whammy integration was also well played honestly. I would advise you to tune up the guitar as WELL as you possibly can prior to beginning to play, even if it sits there for 30 minutes on a stand or whatever, it technically could fall out of tune with temperature differentials and humidity ups/downs of being indoor versus being outside. Point being: tune up the guitar, take a minute or two it's cool, and if you can't tune by ear (which many people truly cannot), then just use a clip-on tuner or something to detect harmonic frequency vibrations, that would probably be your best bet. See my channel if you'd like to learn more about playing the guitar. I'm still not TOTALLY sure if I wanna buy this product or not, humming and hawing about it due to questionable longevity, but thank you for reviewing this! Overall well done.

Yeah so I bought this and 2 months in the receivers just stopped working. They still light up green and connect to each other but no sounds comes out. I've tried on 9 different guitars and 3 amps but they just don't function.

Got one of these Getaria GWS 8. It went dead after about two months. So far it has been a pain trying to get Getaria to do anything about it. Caveat emptor.

I DJ with my phone and im looking for a way to play wirelessly without any latency. I came across guitar transmitter receiver sets and noticed they have the lowest latency levels. Im curious to know if with an audio adapter i can connect my phone to any mixer and play with a wireless guitar set.

2.4 is so crowded. Watch for interference. I have both 5.8 and older AKG wirelessbug system. Even these get interference at times.

Would you recommend this system? I'm deciding on this model or the 5 Ghz model? And is it okay to have more than one wireless guitar system? I don't mind shelling out $60 on the 5 GHZ model. But since I'm a beginner when it comes to wireless systems, would you recommend this for starters like me? I don't mind having more than one wireless guitar system? Plus, is the battery life on this system any good? I just need some last minute advice before I click the buy button on amazon! Just getting this for now, and maybe in a few months, I'll get the 5 GHZ model of the getaria wireless system. Also, does the difference between the 2 GHZ and 5 GHZ models, affect sound quality? I wonder... one gets these awfully cheap these days, and apart from potential manufacturing consistency issues and sometimes a wimpy battery, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot wrong with them... but if you want a transmitter for a microphone, you pay an arm and a leg... or it's some horrible arcane noisy tech that is not in the ISR band so you can be arrested for even turning it on. So it is for sure interesting, even perhaps as electronics building modules to play around with and modify. When you say latency in other comment... well I think most of these guarantee sub 12ms... so you ideally shouldn't be noticing that. What are the odds that instead your action adjustment on guitar is set too high or inconsistent or you're not quite hitting the strings the moment you think you are?
