Just look for a hawkeye wagon like myself! Never made an sti wagon so it doesn’t look too gaudy when you slap one of them on! Plus it’s sharper than the forester and you just don’t see the wagons man

Damn dude your transmission is way louder than mine. I've been worrying about the 5mt in my 05 lgt wagon but now im not even slightly concerned. The fact that yours is holding 400hp is amazing. Sick wagon! They never saw it coming. Subscribed

Most of the noise is from the rear diff being it's solid mounted, I have replaced all drivetrain mounts with much stiffer ones though. The right kind of gear lube will definitely help hold the trans together, but it's still a crap shoot.

Love it! I had an 07wrx several years ago, with a blouch 20g, did 346tq/344hp on cobbs dyno (91) here in Portland, but! after 2 years 3rd gear grenaded itself. Probably my fault on a bad downshift and then a day later it was gonner. Sweet car, makes me want to buy one, but it would have to have a 6 speed already swapped into it!

Beautiful mate. I have the same interior in my sg xt. The car has done around 100kmiles, runs smooth lots of power. I am experiencing a lurching effect on boost that i am now sure about. It is not too obvious but when you put your foot down it goes in chunks. Would love it to sound like that. what have you done in the way of mods to achieve this.

Your shifts are fast enough man, no worries. You should however use less muscle, try shifting with your hand flat and open, to practice quick gentle shifts and just to protect your gearbox. Man what a monster car though, wild stuff, I can sense front wheel slip in the video, big power and sounds awesome :)

Look into an anti lift kit for the front. I am only running a 16GXTR @ 21psi in my XT but it was a help.

Pretty sweet man. Just got the first round of mods done on my 2009 xt. Down pipe, up pipe, vf52, intake, fuel pump and a custom tune. Tons of fun already. Are you shooting for more power in the future?

Do a nice clean clutch Bleed, quick and easy and makes all the difference in the world. Then preload your gears, just before you're about to push in the clutch, apply a slight slight pressure in the direction of the next gear. Then as you push in the clutch the shifter and linkage will pop straight into the next gear. Remember to be gentle and that the rev range of the engine will be a lot faster so be smoother and gentler on the clutch as well as the accelerator💪🏼 Clutch Bleed Trust Me

Upper gauge pod is from BNA Solutions and ash tray pod is from Subtle Solutions. My rear diff is solid mounted, that's why it's so noisy.

you should try power shifting to keep the rpm's up and keep the turbo spooled. Just leave your foot on the gas when you shift and bang the clutch as you change gears. Its not good for your car, but you'll get mad acceleration times. also wtf is this build and how much was it that is frickin amazing i want one

he is not letting off the gas when he shifts.. he has a cobb access port with flat foot shift enabled n set 2 a certain rpm of his choice

I have VF48 with 1000cc ID and still IC walbro fp and some other mods. At 320wtq and 290 whp. For 20g do I need FMIC or other major mods?

Anuj Sharma He previously had a VF48... All I had him change was the fuel pump (Walbro 460), add an adjustable FPR and raise base pressure to 50 PSI, and then tune for the 20G. He's still on a stock 08+ STi intercooler.

Wow that’s a lot of hp. My 2015 sti with bolt on mods, E85 and the stock turbo made 355hp and 455tq at 23 pounds of boost. That’s at the wheels. How does the 20G make so much more power at lower boost?

its a different turbo. a vf52 isnt really doing much but blowing hot air at 24psi. a 20g is a much bigger turbo

I've been watching all your vids before and skimmed through them quickly again just now. However I did not note what size injectors you're running and what fuel pump. My fxt is just getting a vf43, sti tmic, walbro 255 and exhaust. The stock injectors should handle that on petrol, But lately i've been leaning towards e85. Any pointers? Cheers :D

Don't forget the fuel pump is hardwired AND your base pressure is set at 50 PSI. ;)

So im back. Managed to get hold of injectors. As im currently just on a Vf43 im told the walbro 255 would be sufficient and hold up for a while 😅 regarding fpr and hardwiring the pump. Was that your specs he was talking about or what? I guess the pump might aswell run 100 percent all the time.?

You need the short shift kit. You're losing alot of time with the amount of extra movement you do with the standard shift assy. It can mean the difference between winning and losing a race.
