i miss the era when mark was all for experimentation and new ideas. rather than an overproduced bastardisation of EOTS written mainly by fieldman.

I love so much Mark voice sound from this era, very emotional, it's slighty different to blink nowadays or enema/toypaj/selftitled era, 2005-2007 was Mark on his prime ❤

The songwriting was in lower keys and tones. Much darker so it was a perfect fit for marks voice. He’s still in his prime tbh they just produce the songs in a way that he needs to reach higher notes which breaks his voice and tone most of the time. The Feldman’s era with skiba in the band really revealed the voice range of mark which is really lower than the production was. Hope the new blink is going to target his sweet spot again

Thanks for this takes me back to MySpace days. There is still at least one song missing from this list though. There was an earlier demo version of No It Isn't with alternative lyrics. I think it was the first track they released actually. It was very early.

I think the Little Death and WYHSB remixes at the end are where Mark originally wanted to take +44. Very heavily influenced by Postal Service.

Probably because the Chapter 13 “demo” is just the middle of the song poorly edited into the beginning to extend it
