Can we just take a moment to appreciate of hard it is to do what they are doing. Playing an entire album from start to finish without any breaks and transitioning into the next song with no pause. My utmost respect for Taylor for keeping the grooves tight. A band is only as good as its drummer and this is one of the best performing bands in the world. Rest easy Taylor, you are deeply missed.

@@NoName-fo7mz not sure how many live performances you've seen where they just go into the next song without switching guitars or getting ready, you know just taking a breather for a min or so just to get ready for the next song. But in this performance, they don't really stop even for a few seconds, they go straight into the next song. And all I and the other commentors are saying is that this is really hard to do for the drummer, and for the other members as well. And just to reply to your other comment, no I am not a musician. When I later checked the TV recording for their Rock am Ring performance, I could clearly hear that Dave was croaky af. I used to listen to podcasts almost exclusively when I rode my bike on paths near the San Francisco bay. At some point, I started listening to this album for the return leg of my 40-mile out-and-back ride. Now, I listen to the album for both legs, out and back, and I've been doing so every time I ride. I hear the entire album three times or more on such a ride. It's like I'm stuck inside Dave Grohl's musical mind 13 years in the past. I can't escape. The music won't let me.

I keep coming back to this live recording. They did this in a single take, and kept it real. It's a brilliant performance. Taylor Hawkins is near irreplaceable. Six months after his passing, they're playing tribute gigs to Taylor. God knows what they're going to do next. RIP.

RIP TYLOR. I saw this presentation yesterday and now it's a nightmare, I loved the way he played and always smiled in the interviews. Tough blow for rock music, I can't even think that the band can continue with that name or without Tylor.

What I love about this is how well the cameras track whats going on in the music. You know in other live band videos when they show the bass player during a big drum fill or guitar leads kinda thing? Here the video tells the music's story really well.

I have a friend I used to work wit and he transferred to another store … one day he tells me “ Do you know Dave Grhol ?” And I say “ heel yeah I know Dave “ and he tells me that Dave had gone into his store and everyone was telling him about Dave .. so Dave walked into the isle my friend was working at .. he said Dave said hi to him and asked him about his day .. he said he felt his warmth about Dave .. I was surprised that the universe didn’t implode at the time since my friend is the nicest person I’ve ever met .. I just imagine the universe not being able to control the love of these 2 people in one place and just imploding in itself 😂 I Love Dave .. he’s such an amazing human being ❤

It’s hard to watch videos like this knowing that Taylor is not here anymore. I know it’s easy to say just remember the good times or watch older videos of when everybody was happy. But it’s just weird man. He was so young and had so much more potential ahead of them And I can only feel for Dave and the rest of the band as they’ve already gone through so much loss in their lives. Genuinely one of my favorite groups of all time. I wish them the best.

I've watched this video alot, since 300k some views. This is my go to youtube video, a true masterpiece in my opinion. No matter how hard or easy the day is for me, this is the video that has helped me through so much in life. On good days I am happy belting out to every word in this, on bad and extremely bad days i'm screaming this out to the world. Long shot that the foos see my comment, but I want to truly thank them for everything they've given to me and to the world. RIP Taylor, what a legend.
