I've said it before, and I'll say it again...TRC is putting out professional, Hollywood level content. You guys (and I'm sure gals) have had your video and editing game going for a while, and now you're really good at "telling the story" as well. Great job!!

I really love cars like the Cisio/Nth Moto/Calvo/UGR/AMS GTRs, Vipers, R8s, Huracans etc, because they're actually pushing the platforms as far as they can go - yeah they have 2000+ horsepower, but they still have DCTs (or whatever stock trans the Vipers have) and the R8s and Lambos still have the V10, and the GTRs still have a VR etc. (yes they're all built with billet parts but the SPIRIT of the car is still there). Once you get past a certain point, you see a drag car that's a "Camero" or a "Mustang" or in this case a "GTR" where if you took the bodies off you wouldn't be able to even tell them apart. You could pretty much take the body off and put in on the other car, because they're all just a tube chassis, a massive rear end with 2-foot wide tyres, a big block, and a t400/powerglide. The type of car it 'identifies' as is almost irrelevant at this point. I'm not saying it isn't sick, and this car is INCREDIBLE, it's just not a GTR.

What an absolute unit of a video. Beautifully done in all honesty, everything was perfect (in my opinion). I am totally game for more like this.

The production of this video is on a whole new level, congrats. To the team, congrats on a great start to the year. Didn’t know of John prior to NPK last year and I’m glad he is shaking things up. Love the emotion this team has for the sport and of course family and fans. As Jim said, money can buy a car but money alone won’t get it down the track.

The cinematography in this video is on another level. You guys have come a king way from years back when I first started watching your videos. Amazing job to everybody at TRC. Keep killing it with the content.

This stuff will always be awesome to see and my dad is obsessed but I can’t help but like the street racing more. Watching 40 blown V8s with different shells race can only be fun for so long. The street is where it’s at, og body and motor cars fighting it out. Again this is probably my favorite NPR car (i own a 32 gtr so im bias) but it loses some excitement when the only thing different about this car is the body.

Love watching NPK bring him on! Give him a shot. All I know is those offsets on the GTR are the highest Iv ever seen haha

I like that they kept the purity of the GTR intact /s , although that v8 is probably a lot lighter than the 700lbs boat anchor VR38 is. Kinda reminds me of RC cars where you just swap the tops over for a different brand lol.

The only thing GTR about that is maybe the taillights. That’s like saying an Impala in NASCAR is similar to the one you can buy off the lot. 😅

Great. May as well put an Elantra body on it. Call it a GTR, elantra, Civic doesn't matter. It ain't none of them. It's badass nevertheless but who cares what body is on it other than a Charger, Challenger, hell it could have even been a skittle. At least those would have been in the family.

I'm a fan of Justin's as well as a fan of John so I'm pulled first one way then the other on which car will be the quickest in their grudge races. In all truth I hope the guys can make SAFE, QUICK and FAST 'door to door' races for we fans and the guy who has the best read on the track, the best dialed in chassis WILL WIN! Both hotrods are contenders for this year's NPK,, BUT the elephant in the room is, has been and will continue to be Ryan. Ryan has two championships,, he doesn't rest on his laurels, he continues upgrading, testing and he will not let go of his championship without a fight. 2022 NPK WILL GO DOWN in the drag racing history books as one of the most competitive series in recent years.
