45699 & 45231 pass within 30 seconds on the mainline 3/10/15

8 жыл бұрынHere is my footage of LMS 45699 'Galatea and LMS 45231 passing on the mainline within 30 seconds of each other on Saturday 3rd October 2015. Galatea was hauling a charter 'The Lune Rivers Trust' to York and 45231 was hauling a charter 'The Settle-Carlisle' to Carlisle. Both tours were being run by the West Coast Railway Company.

the "5" sounded great there. Great clips in the Fog, it really enhances the atmosphere as the trains storm into view. Many thanks for sharing. Cheers, Alan

That sounds a bit too close for comfort Phil, I would have expected the following train to be proceeding under caution...never the less, two superb clips as always...Bob

Superb shots Phil of the engines performing well . Almost the perfect shot just a shame not quite together. That you have to be extremely lucky but good try. May be next time. C&A
