46115 The Midday Scot 11/3/17

LMS 7P 46115 Scots Guardsman was at the helm of The Midday Scot on Saturday 11th March 2017. We see the Scot on the outward leg at Bay Horse then just north of Carnforth we witness 46115 getting in to her stride for the climb ahead with unfortunately both drain cocks wide open.
The tour was running from Manchester to Edinburgh via Shap and Beattock summits on the Wcml.

Captured the roar of a Scot well at Bay Horse and a nice view of her near Carnforth Phil. Drat those drain cocks though - but still a good watch. Chris

That second clip was superb Phil, what is it with the drivers at Carnforth, those Cylinder Drain cocks, only need to be open when the loco has been standing for a while, not in full flight on the main line....It's only them that causes this issue....no excuses whatsoever...Bob
