We just moved!
Saying goodbye to my old home and starting new can be bittersweet and for weeks I have been so excited and anxious about this change.

Your husband is such a sweetheart, arranging the plants while you sleep to make it look like your old balcony ! Moving is hard at first but you’ll all be so happy once you settle and make it a home ! Change is scary but the future that awaits you is one of happiness in a brand new environment !

For a house with such history, which has seen its occupants come and go, I feel like it's so lucky to have such good caretakers and homemakers in you now. The whole place will bloom under your care. I love how happy your little girl is too. When I was growing up, we moved countries 6 times and lived in 11 houses by the time I was 17; it was normal for us to move (for dad's job), but looking back, I don't know how I coped except that I felt safe in my little family cocoon and had the carefree spirit I see in your daughter now. Yes, there was sadness at every moment of separation, but then life goes on and we adapt. I wish you all the best and look forward to more adventures in your new home. You are so brave!

I want so much a neat life like this, but I’d be lying to my natural ability to be careless and messy. I have too many items with colors that don’t match, and not enough money to buy canister and other ways to store items outside of their store-bought packaging. Thank you for sharing. I got so emotional watching you and your husband paint over your walls in your old home. We're also moving and it's so bittersweet to leave our home that we live in for 9 yrs. I am so impressed by your video especially you are able to move with your plants. I have watching your channel for a while, this is the first time I leave a piece of message here. I am also going to move soon. My apartment has a great view of statue of liberty and a southern balcony with a lot of roses. My husband and I had a lot of good memories here. However, because of life change, we have to leave this apartment now. Last week I just gave away all of my plants to other families who want to take care of them. I am pretty sure my plants are in good hands. I will miss them forever...

We moved into our new house 2 months ago after renting for 9 years, and I could not describe the bittersweet feeling I was having. It was an old rental home, but we had created memories in it. Although I was excited my kids would final have a place to call their own, I was painfully sad as well. I cried on the last day we were there cleaning up. As I touched the walls and held the doorknobs one last time, I felt like I was grieving the death of a loved one. It has been 2.5 months and I have finally fallen in love with our new home and accepted the reality of creating new memories here. I will always cherish that old home though 💜

Happy for you guys! The new place looks stunning - lots of history, charm and coziness. It ll take some time to arrange everything to built that feel of "home" you were mentioning (I can relate, we just moved a while ago) but when it hits you after a while and you call it home for the first time after weeks/ months it will let your heart do a little jump and feel: you arrived for good.

I am just in the process of moving from a small place (82m2 and 4 children and two dogs!) to a slighter bigger one but with a real garden. I'm excited and emotional at the same time. I just want to say that your channel and videos have inspired me to grow my own balcony garden early this year. Even though I don't have a balcony, I really have enjoyed learning to grow my own vegetables and plants from seed to fruit. I recently moved from Dubai to the US and was sad to leave my plants behind, but am inspired and super excited to begin a new gardening chapter with my husband. Thank you

Congrats on your move to Northern Germany. I lived in Redsburg for about 9 years and loved it. There is so much to do and see and the best part was being so close to Denmark it was just a quick trip whenever I wanted to go. I hope you enjoy your new home and new location. :)
