I commented extensively on your video about the father protecting the narc mother. I’m terrified of one of my 94, 97 year old parents being left for me to deal with….I've journaled and some of the words I’ve used repeatedly used are feelings of being caged by them, exploited, lack of freedom, disgust,too old to deal with it… I’ve created much distance….and only call every three days instead of several times a day… She is getting very frustrated…in the last six weeks…and I’m feeling much better. Here’s how I feel….Ive invested a lot of money in a slot machine, and now I need to walk away. My sister will step up to the machine, she’s done nothing for them, and she will put in her one quarter and get the contents of the machine… My mother has shit talked about my sister to me and me to my sister…triangulation. Because of her, my sister, who is also a narc, and I are not talking…. No one wants to be my mother’s victim….it is like playing family hot potato….and no one cares as long as they are not her victim… When I’ve told my sister about how she treats me, she lectures me on how I need to be patient because she’s old…..but when she is on the receiving end of my mothers rage, it’s a whole different story…. I’m waiting for the “ you’re out of my will” threat…
