Hi Barbara, I am blown away how you presented your present. Thank you so much, sweety! 🥰 The numbers are from the Digital Collage Club. As a long time follower of your channel I „had“ to be a member there. 🥰 The numbers are made with a t-shirt transfer folio for bright fabrics. You have to print it wrong sided, cut it out and then you can fix it by ironing on fabric. Sending a big and warm hug to you! Hanni 😘

Beautiful journal and folios. Can’t wait to see your creativity with this one! Love the sound of the pages. Possible ASMR with this one too? Thank goodness you said not to pressure yourself and work with whatever sparks joy. That’s how I work in my journals but sometimes feel guilty because it takes me so much time and like you, I don’t have a set plan for each page.

Hello Barbara, what a wonderful journal, it is so scrumptious. The noise of the different papers is wonderful. Loved your page and how you do the collaging (I DO struggle sometimes to get the pieces to gel), you just seem to know what goes with what. I think I need to fly over to Vienna and take some lessons from you!!!!!! So watch out for me. LOL. Thank you so much for the inspiration and for the genuineness (is that a word???), I love watching your channel and cannot wait for the 49 Dragonflies days, you have given me so much, actually yours was the first channel I watched and saw just what junk journaling was all about. I was hooked. Have now completed 3 journals and am on my forth one, am also journaling in my own one. So I do owe y ou an awful lot. You got me through the worst of our lockdown, when I had run out of canvases, paints and had nothing to do, read all the library books I managed to get out before they too closed, you saved my sanity, and still do !!!!!! WOW, I can prattle on, can't I????? Anyway, before this all puts everyone to sleep, I am sending Blessings and hugs, as usual, from Cape Town. Diana.

I often use my inkjet printer to print out images like your numbers here onto fabric. Just iron some unbleached muslin onto freezer paper, cut it to size, and run it through your printer. After you’ve printed, allow it to dry for a while and then heat set it with your iron.

@@49dragonflies I use freezer paper (Reynolds) a lot in my quilting projects, it has a shiny, waxy side that will allow fabric to 'stick' to it and it can be re-used a few times. I have never tried printing with it though, must give this a try Beautiful journal, lucky lady

I making my first Junk Journal that I’m giving away to a friend. I’m so nervous about it. I’m not sure she knows what a junk Journal is. So I’m afraid she’s gonna look at it and say, “What is this junk?” Lol. Yep, exactly. She’s a KZfaq friend that I’ve never met or talked to. She and her family have just done so much for me. I wanted to make her something special to thank her. This Journal is amazing!! I wish I could come up with something as good. Thanks for sharing!!

Hanni's idea of using a bead on the ribbon for the closure is brilliant. I absolutely love this journal. I love all the grungey paint textures and papers. It really is a work of art. I have a box full of packing paper that is very much like the papers in your journal. Now I now what to do with them. Hm. Inspiration! Your collage is very much in keeping with the theme of the journal Love it. Thank you for showing us the journal.

I love this journal, with touches of gold too, the one thing I do that’s In this journal is die cutting shapes and embroidering around the edges or doing spirelli ? The criss crossing over the hole. Loving the sounds, I must put more tracing or baking papers in my journals

DIY - FREE TEARING RULER that works like a charm: use 2 inch (approx) strip of heavy card stock or tag board and cut different kinds of jagged lines on both long sides. You could also glue this to an old ruler to give it more stability. ;-)

I think the numbers on the fabric are done with t-shirt transfer paper. Its printable and you apply to the fabric with an iron.

I had my eye on that little blue cluster as you were searching for something to use on that tuck envelope and was "shocked" when it was the one you actually chose to use!😲.
