This video has been inspired by Eva from @Bohemian Crafting . Eva posted a video a few weeks ago showing how to use round embellishments in junk journals • Using circles in journ... and I was so inspired that I immediately had to try some out using some of the craft supply sent to me by sweet Debi from the US.

You may not even see this, Barbara, because I’m watching it a year after you made it, but I had to answer your question of if ‘I’m not a junk journaler, than why am I watching you?’ I somehow found you on KZfaq in November of 2022, when you were talking about making journal embellishments with prompts for Depherember, and between you & Luise Heinzl, I fell in love with you both! I don’t like grunge… it’s just not my thing… but I LOVE everything you girls create! I LOVE how ready and willing you are to share your ideas! I have made lots of my own versions of your embellishment ideas, and I LOVE each and every one! …(they just don’t have so much ‘soot’ or ‘walnut’ stain!) Haha!! Thank you so much for your kindness and cheerful attitude! You are a JOY!!! ❤

Barbara you are too funny! I loved it as well when you questioned why are you here if you don’t like vintage? 🤣 Fun video! The pieces you made are gorgeous of course! I really like how you gave suggestions on what to use to get the same type effect! And I just love the encouragement to look around the house! There is so much here in our homes that we can use!!!! I love Eva's style. Pretty cool that you made all the same choices that I would have, except skipping the bird with the missing tail -- I would have used a fluffy bit of one of the feathers as a substitute tail.

At laughed at your, "What are you doing here?" to people who don't craft vintage. You've once again inspired me with this idea. I've pulled out a bunch of goodies to play with. Painted some background shapes with water colors because I need some fall colors. So I'll try putting those together with some things tomorrow. My favorite is the one with the star on it. I love stars and planets, moon and sun themes.

Hi Barbara! I enjoyed this "How To Make JJ Embellishments/Inspired by Eva @ Bohemian Crafting" from 10-1-21 very much !! It is an excellent video. You did an awesome job showing several techniques & methods to make such nice embellishments! Your punches & die cuts make for excellent bases for your collages elements & images, along with your wonderful paper scraps. I like that you explained several alternatives for the die cuts & punches also, because not everyone is lucky enough to have those tools to use. You made some super embellishments!!
