@@DigitalDreamsyt Why was to compare with RT and without? we want to see the new version of rt compared to the old one. Evaluate whether it is worth taking a series of 4xxx video cards for the sake of changes

@@haikoart There are videos that does compare RT Psycho and RT Overdrive, the difference is massive as Overdrive mode replaces nearly all rasterized lighting with ray traced global illumination so you get accurate shadows, accurate lighting, bounce lighting (coloured lights changes the scene entirely) and much more reflections, this was not possible with RT Psycho as it is a hybrid from of RT. Digital Foundry made the best example for this comparison.

RT had never really been useless. A lot of issues with rasterization was solved with RT. But PT just takes it to a whole new level of awesome.

Raytracing overdrive looks insane, been going back and forth between Cyberpunk on my 4090 with RT overdrive on, and Cyberpunk on my PS5 with raytraced shadows on, huge difference.

The biggest difference for me is how skin on character models look in darker situations. No more light leaking from the skin and has weird video gamey look with glowing well lit skin when it should not be that bright. Now they look like real skin with proper shading and they way everything casts shadows accurately. Character models will finally look photorealistic when it comes to lighting and that's personally for me the biggest upgrade.

Verdammt...du bist schnell. 😱 Erstmal alle Mods durch's Update hinüber! 🙈 Der Lambo und das HD Reworked Mod Pack laufen noch. Pathtracing bei meiner RTX 4080 aktiviert...einfach mal von RT Psycho, DLSS Quality + FG von 110-130 fps (UWQHD) auf 55-75 runter. Uff! Aber es sieht einfach sooo viel besser aus! 😍

It's not a huge jump as it's the animations that spoil the level of immersion, esp when they bump into one another, lol, they definitely need to concentrate on that in future games

@@DigitalDreamsyt Ok but I got stuttering with DLSS3 + FG + vsync enabled forced by NVCP (NV Control Panel) at 1920x1080@60Hz running my RTX 4090 on Portal RTX. 😟 But I got pure smooth motion (no any stuttering) on DLSS3 + FG (3DMark) with vsync enabled. 🙂 Try to reduce the vertical freqeuency from 165Hz to 60Hz to see if you get any stutter or not at FG + vsync enabled on Cyberpunk. 😉

@@DigitalDreamsyt i mean now the artist have to deal with multiple scenarios, like rasterized, RT, PT and in CP2077 you can see the problem sometimes, like total black rooms becasue of this. + I love RT and PT, but it is like AA in the 90's, you have to wait a few years to be usable

only at 4k. I play 3440x1440 and actually get about 30 fps native. Not that i would ever play like that, DLSS quality with frame gen takes it up to 100 and feels great.

What, no HDR? I can't play Cyberpunk without it anymore. You have all that power in 4090 yet you still rock a shitty monitor? Also, why use shitty VP9 encoder? Your Nvidia AV1 10bit encoder supports HDR I believe. KZfaq now also supports AV1, turn it on in settings.
