OMG so different from the Concert Bands of the 70's, where we sat on chairs with music on stands. So entertaining and energetic! My hats off to all the band members and the choreographer. You know they spent a lot of time rehearsing to get the timing right! Thank You for the awesome performance!

It is a joy to listen to and watch the percussion section. Comare and Chippi are in sync throughout the performance. They attack their drums with precision and ferociousness that is unmatched many musicians older than them. The stay in sync throughout the performance, even during the more difficult drum rolls. Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band is the most accomplished band I have seen in my 69 years on this wonderful earth. Keep up the good work and thank you for a wonderful performance Comare and Chippi.

Awesome! Thank you for posting. Always spot on! The clarinet player lose a shoe at 11:53 and continues on. At 12:32, she recovers it in transition and continues like nothing happened. Very smooth and a true performer. Continued on and stayed in sync with the rest of the team. I wish we could get subtitles for these videos. It would be great to know what they are talking and laughing about. :)

Are we aware that the KT 2017 bring the reputation of their band around the world ? So cool to see Ron (DM), Kurara (Flute with a prosthetic leg), Chippi (Percussion). Looks like in this video, there's only Second and Third Years.

It is a high-class brass band. The appearance of high school girls playing rhythm is beautiful will send you an applause. 파이팅~ __ ( Korea Musician harmonics Professor - David Kim )______

Yes, I’ve noticed in a few other videos when he made some intro speeches and the audience reacted to his humour. Would like to have a translation added👍🙂
