4k vs 1080p - Can you tell a difference on YouTube?

4k is pointless the actual content is what gets you views.

Very true. Many channels have been grown to >100k subs with 720p video.

Video is rendered in 4k. You need to render the same video as 1080 and 4k and play them separately. You'll see a big difference. Also there is a difference in filming as 4k and rendering down to 1080 and vice versa. Also, can your device even view 4k? I just don't know this video is super helpful.

A seems like the 4k to me, it is a huge leap in clarity and sharpness for me......but both look good. B seems a lot grainier.

I think B is 4K and vice versa. I cannot tell much of a difference,

I thought A was 4k - was I right? It wasn’t glaringly obvious just slightly. I watched this because I’m buying a drone for my son and for an extra £30 you can get 4k rather than 1080p. Wondering if there’s £30 worth of difference!
