Here is a detailed rundown of all the homeschool curriculum picks for 4th grade. I'm covering morning time plans, math and why grade levels don't matter, how I couldn't pick a history curriculum so I picked them ALL, and more!

The Learning American History through Literature is what brought me here! That’s what I am getting for my special needs teen next year! We will go slow and take a few years! I’m excited and hopeful!

Thank you for mentioning how one can push too hard. I am a new homeschool Mom and before the next school year my thoughts have been back and forth with how we will approach math next year.

So glad you are speaking into the grade level behind thing. Older homeschool mom here and it is so so much better to go on level per child and not be fearful of that. I have six kiddos one graduated and in carrer, a Senior, Sophomore, Eighth graderish, Sixthish, and firstish. Thanks for posting.

I can’t find much more information online about the Learning American history through literature. Can you tell a bit more about it? Some examples of the activities and videos? Thanks!

Great video Alicia! Easy grammar and first language lessons are great. We also use the diagramming book you showed in your other video. Your morning time looks great also. I love No Sweat Nature Study, I learned so much. Your History plan looks fantastic, so fun! That new curriculum looks really great. I homeschool my youngest (7th grade) mostly just the two of us also. So weird to not be doing family school these past few years but it’s a new season and we are embracing it. Love your content!

You definitely have a traditional style. We are eclectic, not traditional I guess, but do love literature-based learning for science and history. My son is in 4th grade. I enjoy seeing how others homeschool because nobody does it exactly the same. :)

Can you skip years of easy grammar. Like easy grade grade 2 then just to 4 then 6 etc?

Absolutely! I do not do a new grammar book every year.
