Welcome to Jafffa Adventures where Jill and Terry take off for a half year trip through the remote regions of South Australia and Western Australia on a camping and 4WD odyssey. In this video we continue along the Canning Stock Route between Wells 11 and 15. Come join us!
If West Australia 4WD and off-road tracks, remote camping, and hiking are not on your bucket list, they should be!!
If you like overlanding, if you like remote unspoiled places, if you like 4WD action, if you like camping from your 4x4 then this is the place to be.

I’ve watched a number of CSR videos over the years hoping to get an idea of what it’s like to drive the track and always been left disappointed to a degree. Have to say this series is without doubt the best I’ve ever seen. Absolutely loving the eps can’t wait for the rest. Thank you for taking the time to do it properly and also the little life stories are really interesting. Filming/narration/stories 10/10.

Great job on the series guys. The only outback/4wd content I bother watching. Just useful information, great scenery and simple lightweight camping. Not obsessing about gear,car mods ,boring personal sagas and such ,as is almost universal in the genre. Well done. Agree about the desert oaks…

@@JafffaAdventures Hey Terry, my in-car phone holder has let go and need a newy. Any suggestions? Magnet? Airvent or suction? Cheers if you could add what you've tried and tested. 👍
@JafffaAdventures
@JafffaAdventures 3 ай бұрын
The only thing I have used is the Ram mount suction style holder. It’s big and bulky but holds like glue. It doubles to hold my iPad and GPS unit if I need as well, so it’s multi functional. There certainly may be better products out there, but I have not used any so cannot comment. Cheers😎

The red berried plant is the Holly Leafed Grevillea (GREVILLEA wickhamii). Dead or alive, it's the nemesis of your vehicles duco. The pinstriping left after a bush sojourn never lets you forget them lol. Cheers😆

Good to know the name of the camel berries, thanks for sharing. As for pin striping, not on my rig mate😉. I have Rhinohide on all the panels, and duct tape on the back of the mirrors, scrub bars etc. My vehicle came back unscathed, but you are correct, the scrub is unforgiving to the uninitiated, that’s for sure👍😎

I’m enjoying hearing your stories, like you my first bike was a YZ80D and my second was a Honda CR125 Elsinore. Great bikes and so many memories.
@JafffaAdventures
@JafffaAdventures 5 ай бұрын
That’s awesome mate. I remember my Elsinore well, it was a slug up to about 6000 rpm then it came alive like a cut snake from there all the way to redline. Nearly killed me many times😂👍

As always, great viewing! Have you managed to find an fly/insect repellant that actually works out there in the bush (apart from the head net)?
@JafffaAdventures
@JafffaAdventures 6 ай бұрын
Thanks Trevor. I have not tried repellent as I’m not a fan of the sticky feeling it has. I don’t mind the flies on my legs and arms, it’s just the eye, ear, and nose burners that get annoying, hence netting up when they are in plague proportions 👍😎

Ba ha! For real???? 😮😮My first "real bike" (I worked & saved hard for as a kid) was a YZ80B (Yellow). Mum dropped me off when I bought it & she said, "don't ride it on the road" ... Yes Mum!! It began to rain, knobblies & all, I hi tailed it for home (maybe on the roads😉) with my old go cart helmet on (remember the old bowl type helmets with leather sides & straps 😂) Just so many "camp fire stories" from back in the day!🤣🤣 Yep, when the CR 125 etc path too. I think my first road rego'd bike was the MT 125 that ended up with a CR 125 engine 😁, then I actually bought an XL250 brand new at one stage! Then got into "proper" road bikes after that, swapping the XL250 for a K2 750 chopper. I rebuilt that bike & rode that thing everywhere!! (it was almost like Easy Riders 😂) I literally lived off the bike touring. I've had a few since then (CB900, F1 750 etc) but it's been far too long time since I had a bike 😥 While I loved the Simmo crossing videos, I'm definitely to old & unfit for that, but I enjoyed them that's for sure! 👍I was almost going to say about the Landy with the Holden 6, but someone else beat me to it! My first 4wd was a Landy..... Never again!! 🤣🤣Thanks once again for a good video Guys! Cheers!

Great stories mate. I can just picture you high tailing it home with a go cart helmet, classic! I too had a landy many years ago, a Series II short wheel base. The first and last Landy I ever owned, LOL. Thanks for sharing mate.

@@JafffaAdventures Terry you can make another 20 for all we care. this has been one of the best CSR series so far. I've watched a few and sadly there's too much BS and camp shenanigans (4xoverland and OvTr) that spoilt some of it. I'm loving some of the stories about your "yoof" and some of the little tidbits of info you've gleaned about certain sites of the CSR. Keep up the good work my friend. :)
