Hey. I hope you realise i binge watched most of your videos as they were so raw and extensive in knowledge. Really loved them. I have a query, can you suggest me what should i do after my bachelor’s in psychology hons. from du, if i want to make career in HR? I’m thinking of doing Pg diploma in HR from Canada after my graduation in India. What do you think about this approach? Suggestions and constructive criticism will be highly appreciated! Dear, glad you found the content helpful... for your query, to do HR job in India you must know the labour laws and regulations as per India, doing HR from any other country will not benefit you much, its not that you can't do a HR Job in India after abroad graduation, but it makes things difficult for you.. so I would suggest go for a good college here in India and then start your career journey.. Dear, before starting on the job, you must acquire the key HR skills, else it will be very difficult to get a job plus even if you get any it will be more or less the same as your tele calling.. here are the skills you need: 1. Understanding of all HR basic functions and their responsibilities 2. Good MS Excel and PPT skills You can learn all these skills over the internet or you can choose to enroll in the course we teach... All the best!!

Hi ma'am, I recently finished one HR Internship in a startup and i was so joyful to start it. I was so active in my College and so passionate to start my career. But during the internship, i literally got fed up as i was not able to get candidates, even after making around 100 calls a day and Candidate wont appear fr interview,while manager was asking me to get 10-15 Candidates per day. Although i am very active and confident, i am a person who want personal space and dont mingle with people if not in need and i think that affected me negatively as well. Now i completely lost my confidence but i want to start a job asap and i want to do in HR domain itself. But the experience is making me anxious. Any suggestions, maam?do i need to change my introverted character, if i want a good career in this domain?

Maybe you should look at joining a good company, aim for a multinational. You can intern there first. To attract candidates it's not only on you and has nothing to do with you being an introvert. HR should know the business strategy. You need to have/build a strong employer brand so you can market your company to potential candidates. You can go on campus to a career day. Have strong social medical profiles and post your vacancy there. Making cold calls doesn't seem like a good strategy unless your are in head hunting for high profile candidates and this requires a sophisticated approach. And if you don't like to interact much with people, you may look at a different job profile which requires for solitude work. Developer, Data Analyst are some examples. HR usually requires interaction with various stakeholders at any level even Admin. Madam here also made a related video you can watch.
