There's many factors you want to find an optimized city for dating. There's two major trends with guys: they overthink/overanalyze or don't think about it enough. If you're over optimizing and trying to find a city based on mass data / analyzing just to find the perfect city or one that's 5% better, you are hitting diminishing returns. Some people are over obsessed with it when they could work on other attractive traits and see more of an impact there. If you're low value or perceived that way, you may perform poorly on any city.
