Thanks! For the beginner videos like this one I try to only give the most basic information so it is easier to follow for people who are just beginning to learn nunchucks. Therefore, some of the suggestions may seem a little too obvious for more prestigious spinners.

+Linus Nunchaku at my 13yold ive got impressed by what bruce lee do with this weapons, and started doing my own, from broom wood, ( done about 30 ) 29 of them get throw away by my parents, now start working and bought a pro wooden one, ive learned wrist rolls kind of instintively, but i got. a real problem with finger rolls and left handed, any tips. for bettering it ? (sorry for the 'instintively' english) thx by now

Finger rolls can be difficult especially when using chain bound nunchucks because of the uneven texture of the chain. Therefore if you happen to have string bound nunchucks specifically with a shorter string it will allow you to more easily learn the finger roll concepts before applying those techniques to other types of nunchucks. Also I find it more difficult to learn new concepts and moves on wooden nunchucks so it may just take some more time to get used to it.

I think this is a great youtube channel, but i think that in some respects is incomplete too. I'm talking about the fight. I practice martial arts and I can't found any fight advices like the parade or the shoot. The nunchaku should be take in the Middle or a bit lower, because when you hit you're 20 cm longer and you're stronger in the parade

Thank you for your comment. There are a few issues with creating videos on fighting when it comes to KZfaq. To keep my channel from violating the KZfaq guidelines, my videos on fighting are for entertainment purposes only. I am well aware that there are several channels that do take this risk and produce fighting-related content, but for me the potential views are not worth the risk of having my channel removed or face additional legality issues. I do and will not create content with actual fighting advice, because I lack the legal advice and knowledge to defend my case if something were to go wrong.

You can surely learn some basics in a few weeks or months if you work hard. However, it really depends on a lot of factors. If you need any assistance with learning the basics or any other moves, feel free to check out some of my other tutorials and/or contact me.

I have one nunchucks. But I getting problem to learn especially when I train wrist roll. Probably my Nunchuck chain is too long. Then, how much is the ideal long chain between. Thank you. I beg you a pardon for my broken English.

The most common chain lengths are between 2 and 6 inches, anything longer will greatly decrease your control over your nunchucks. Shorter will limit your variety of possible nunchaku moves. Let me know if this helps and if you need any other assistance with your spinning. Best of luck!

I know I am a little late on this comment but ideal length is usually the width of your hand and you can work with a longer or short chain but you need to adjust your grip to find the right balance
