I just found your KZfaq account as I've recently opened an Etsy shop and continue to watch informative videos to fully optimize and develop the habits, skills, and tactics of being an entrepreneur. I've been watching/studying for 3 months & I just want to say that you are the first KZfaqr who has not tried to make success on Etsy look like sunshine and rainbows. And for that, I appreciate your video and attitude so much! A lot of people need an austere approach to being successful! The honest and "tough love" is great! The main issue with pod in general is the base cost of literally all products from print companies. We have to charge more than everything is worth. It costs over 20 dollars for a cotton t shirt. You can buy name brand tri blend or dual blend shirts for that. But we have to sell them for even more. And thats just shirts. How about getting someone to spend 30-70 dollars for a water bottle. Yea right.

Hi Dylan! i watched your few videos and absolutely loved your content. i just opened an Etsy shop. I am selling physical products. Can you suggest how can i drive more traffic to my shop. and how long does it take to get organic sales?

Regarding having more than 1 shop (3rd habit), when you sell physical products like supplies and you want also to start selling digital cliparts to be used in scrapbooking or to make junk journals (so they are kinda of supplies too but digital), it's a good idea to open a 2nd shop or have everything in your current shop that already has good sales and traffic (>14.000 sales) and taking advantage on this?

Love this video, you said we need to know who we are selling to. As far as print on demand and having a shop with evergreen designs that sell year round how do we focus in on a specific group of people and also have enough variability in items so we aren’t having a shop that is niche specific so we can sell to a wider audience.
