I absolutely feel your pain. It’s looking more and more with each below mediocre paycheck that I’ll never buy a knife again. The debt spiral is like a black hole. But I love that Maxace knife.

First and foremost, Capsule Monsters is the name that Tajiri Satoshi originally had for Pokemon, likely influenced by the Capsule Kaiju from Ultraman. Also, while there are wilder MaxAce blades I'd like to get, they're also illegal in the state of NY, like the Vortex. Still, I would've liked if the Capsule was over 3" for that price tag, but it is tempting. And, I really like the blade on the Rhino, but not enough to want to get it with a liner lock. Instead, the OBK Sub 3 most interests me, tho I am a bit skeptical of getting a knife that relies on omega springs... but I'm still probably just gunna aim for a Flytanium Arcade, an AD20.5, and maybe a Stitch... besides maybe getting a second Vision FG but this time in Damascus~ 🙃

Man. If that capsule wasnt 230$ i would buy it. Like the weiner warrior was 70~$, which is in my budget to spend on a fun knife. Its going to be my dedicated bbq knife come summer time, because obviously. But at that price? I cant justify it. Though are those tritium slots in the middle of the handle scales?

I have a maxace capsule and I love it.. there is one thing I do not love and that is the hrc rating on it at 59-60...why they advertise that I have no idea.. sometimes ignorance is bliss.. but it has lived on my desk as one of the most satisfying pieces ive come across this year - cheers MC

Apparently you can insert a tritium tube into the handle of the maxace capsule knife, the slot would be provided for it.

After hearing now 3 unboxings/reviews on the Kizer OBK, I am ABSOLUTELY getting one! The Sheepdog is great, I have a mini flipper, but this one is out of my range, money wise! The other three are cool too just not my jam! I don’t own any Benchmades either so this might be the closest I get to owning one!

5:09 That's actually a real tanto blade shape. The sharp angular version is a US derivation called the 'American Tanto', not the original.

I love the looks of the sand polish that Artisan does, but I'll never buy another again because it shows imperfections and scratches way worse than any other finish i have ever owned. Both my boa and my satyr have scratches on the blade and I haven't even used them
