I’m a steel nerd so Spyderco will most likely remain my favorite brand. I have seven PM2’s all in different blade steels. Those Herman knives are tasty!!

I just picked up my first Stitch yesterday with the black fluted aluminum handles and a 2 tone blade! I love it and that Ram Lok action is super smooth!

Microtech just always keep me hooked. I've moved a lot in the past couple years but still hold the majority of my collection being microtechs. They are just cool and fun 😂 That cracked ice borka collab is epic. I've kept my CT star grind cracked ice tanto near close by for years now and I'll never sell it.

👏🏼Wow man I’m drooling over here. I have a small collection of Benchmade’s and some others that I have far less of.. Kershaw, fox, SOG, spyderco, SAK’s. I feel like I’ve been collecting butter knives my whole life after watching this. lol. What an awesome collection. If I ever win the powerball I’m in trouble.

You need an Amphibian in that Microtech collection. The Amphibian was one of the best knives of 2023 imo. I like it over the MSI and the Stitch and I absolutely love both of those.

You should do a video about the most underrated knife steels. Everyone thinks they need 20cv, S90v, etc, but they forget about steels like AEBL and CPM154, which I prefer, actually.

My Microtech collection seems to be growing faster than any other brand as well. They are different enough so it doesn’t seem like a duplicate, though you’ve got quite a few Stitches in your collection. I notice Benchmade didn’t even make the top 8. Benchmade was the first brand I started collecting years back, but I don’t think I’ve bought one in over 15 years. I think they are over priced for what they are offering, especially with blade steels and blade thickness.

I knew it was Microtech. On top of an existing solid collection of OTFs you've been on a Microtech folder spree this year lol. My modest collection would go Benchmade, Spyderco, then a three-way tie of ZT, Protech and Hinderer.

The Stitch is one of my favorite knives and your custom is basically exactly what I want. So nice, I almost want to offer to trade my full custom Chaves gen2 Redencion#111. There definitely on the same value level if your a Chaves guy. Both very rare and essentially impossible to get, the Chaves gen2 design is done never to be made again. Thats why alot of the customs are so expensive if your newer to this world and just cant fathom how a folder can be priced at $4500 or something.I just cant not go off on some tangent lol, that obviously wasn't me explaining customs to you lmao.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I'm guessing #1 is microtech bc i'm pretty sure you have like 12 versions of the stitch. Before the stitch I would guess Hinderer. You're the reason I got an XM-18. I've picked up so many knives since then, but none have dethroned it from my primary edc slot.

The most i own is Spyderco. 1 more will be added hopefully very soon CruCarta Manix2 pre ordered since Thanksgiving. Theres a few more i would like to get but will be tough because they are exclusives. Was able to get a StNicks Manix2 LW before Christmas. Waiting for TKJ to drop some more as well. I want the whole line of Hedgehog exclusives. But yea very cool video

My man has more money tied up in Herman knives alone than I have in my entire collection so far. Lmfao. I was almost certain we'd see a lineup of CKF knives as well TBH. I was told I have something special showing up from Bladezilla (my Christmas gift from my daughter) but I'm not being told what is. Going by my search history for the past 3 months I can only assume its a Shiro, but I have no idea. Daughter always buys me something gorgeous and expensive as shit but I'm not ever allowed to use anything she buys me. Sucks but I can respect her wishes. Lol. Happy New Year to you and the family MC. Hoping to see the channel grow by another 200k or more in this next year brother.

I probably have 8 or 9 victorinox cadets in various colors with the aluminum scales. 6 Spyderco folders and then 4 or 5 ESEE fixed blades. Kinda random, but a lot of 2.5" or less knives due to restrictions at work. Oh, and a microtech feather, now. I have eyed quite a few other microtech fixed blades (especially borka collabs) but haven't bought them yet.

In terms of quantity, Spyderco easily. I have about 30+ Spydercos but I don't really buy them anymore. I also have every Kunwu model, every Arcane design except the Antimatter, and about 10+ or so Hoback production knives. Followed closely by WE (about 10), Hinderer (5), SBD Production knives (5) and Vero (4). Other than that I kinda just have 1 or 2 of many premium brands (Like Herman, Shiro, Koenig, Holt, Grimsmo, PMP, CKF, etc.....)

It's Benchmade by far for me although I haven't bought any lately because their prices are out of control. I have 6 fixed blades and probably 25 folders. Number 2 is probably Spyderco at 6 but I'm not really a fan. I only use 2 of those and only carry 1.

I own...none of those brands other than Spyderco. My biggest collection is...probably Spyderco, but could be Cold Steel. Those are the top 2 anyway. After that, Condor definitely gets 3rd. 4th is probably Kershaw then at 5th I'm pretty sure it's Ontario.

If I could make a suggestion, I'd ask to do a this list in dollars spent on a brand instead of the number of knives you own in that brand. While I own more benchmade knives than any other, I have spent far more on other brands that I have less of. We don't need to know the actual numbers, but I think if you went that route, it would change the viewpoint of which brands you've invested the most into. For me, you might have guessed that chaves is where I put most of my money and you would be correct.

Crossbar locks can be gritty and sticky for awhile. This is normal and will break in after use. If it remains gritty/rough/sticky, then it could be a lemon and you need to get it repaired or replaced. Benchmade has their Axis lock nailed down so well that you shouldn't need to worry about it. Carry and enjoy!
