About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. I am originally from the rural community of Howard, South Dakota.

I am a Christmas Queen. I've already got gifts purchased (and wrapped) for almost half of my list. Can't light up the outside of my condo because of HOA so I make all of my gifts look super extra instead; even I acknowledge I have a ribbon problem (just ask my 18 gallon tote of ribbons and no, I'm not exaggerating). I provide my siblings, parents, in-laws, nieces, and nephews a steady stream of baked goods and cookies from when they arrive (generally early to mid morning) until they leave (late afternoon to late night) from batches of a hundred or so a person that I made and decorated just for them. This is in addition to the meals I make. And mulled cider/fresh cocoa/mulled wine/mead all day. To be fair I am just as extra for birthdays and other holidays. This is why I am our designated hostess lmao

Me too! I host Thanksgiving and Christmas because I'm all about the holidays!! I have 6 kids and all of the older ones are following suit! At least I now have alot of hands to help with all of this now! Happy Holidays!!! 😉

@heiditaylor6206 it's been as cleaned up as it can be without residents replacing their own pipes if they're still lead. What caused it was the city not paying Detroit for water, switching to a direct river source that was more acidic. This lead to the built up sediment that would normally make lead pipes safe to use being leached out and dissolved. This causes further damage to the water quality and pipes themselves as sediment that was filtering chemicals is removed. The city was given millions to resolve the issue how they saw fit. Many believe misappropriation of funds and personal enrichment occurred. As of 2021, pretty much all of the city's pipes had been replaced and the water source was moved back to Detroit then the great lakes water authority. Nothing except poor city management caused the issue. They switched to a more acidic water source without accounting for it thinking they could save money.

LOL this got me curious about the environmental impact of real Christmas trees. Several minutes later after falling down the Real vs Fake rabbit hole I can happily say that real trees are better and can have a positive impact. 🎄

We do the one Christmas eve gift 😂 it's always the same, has never changed in 21yrs for my kids. They know what theyll get in their boxes too. A new robe, pj set, movie or book, decorative hot chocolate package and a chocolate kiss 😂
